OH MY GOD KENDRICK HAS CHANGED THE GAME

Before reading this, you need to have listened to ‘Control Freestyle’ by Big Sean feat. Kendrick Lamar & Jay Electronica. If you haven’t listened then try to read this, it might as well be Chinese to your ass.

Now, something I’ve always said is “Why do these rappers let Kendrick on their tracks?” He doesn’t take days off! His worst guest verse in the last two years was probably on ‘Fuckin Problems’ and it still went kinda hard! Letting Kendrick onto your track is like going on a long drive alone with a known serial killer without telling anyone AND BEING SURPRISED WHEN HE TRIES TO FUCKING KILL YOU! But these niggas don’t seem to realize. The only rapper that tried to slow Kendrick down was J. Cole on ‘Forbidden Fruit’ and the only way he could slow him down WAS NOT LETTING HIM RAP! (His hook was still the best part of the song still).

Big Sean has fucked up. I won’t lie, Big Sean’s been hot lately and I’ve been feeling everything he’s been on buutttt he let this ‘Control Freestyle’ drop. The song was meant to be on his album but couldn’t make it because of sampling issues. He could have buried this song far far away and never let it see the light of day but nah, he dropped it. Now Kendrick has declared himself the best rapper in the game AND NOT ONLY THAT, HE MENTIONED EVERY RAPPER HE’S TRYNA KILL BY NAME (NO SUBS NIGGA!) And if you actually listened, Big Sean went innn! but after Kendrick’s verse you’ll forget Big Sean faster than Kony or Taio Cruz.

“I’m the king of New York” <—Kendrick is from California. The West Coast. This nigga just called himself, the king of New York. Yeah he don’t give a fuck, he’s calling himself the  best on both coasts. Shots fired at every nigga in New York at the same time. The crazy thing is, he’s better than any New York rapper right now.

“I heard the barbershops be in great debates all the time, Who’s the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas, Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of yall. New niggas just new niggas, don’t get involved.” <—-Kendrick just put himself in the legendary group. Hall of Fame niggas. Kanye should’ve been there too but maybe it didn’t fit with his flow or something. You could say Kendrick deserves to be in this group. Every one he listed dropped a classic album and Kendrick’s done that and they’ve always been great rappers and Kendrick already is one…he knows what he’s doing.

“But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller. I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you niggas. Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas. They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from u niggas” <—- LOOOOOL Oh my God he held no punches back! I don’t know what’s worst tbh, being in this group that he mentioned or not being mentioned at all. Every single rapper he’s mentioned here knows that Kendrick is coming for them, even Drake who helped put Kendrick on! Every rapper mentioned here literally has to make sure that all their shit is fucking hot now because they’ve been called out by nameee! (Shouts to Mac Miller for making it).

Every rapper not mentioned here is apparently not relevant enough haha (excluding Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, & Schoolboy Q) . Sucks that Wale made it over people like Danny Brown or Action Bronson btw. Basically, if you didn’t make it into this verse, Kendrick DOES NOT RATE YOU BRUH! So its like rappers are going to have to be going hard so that they can be deemed worthy enough to be killed by Kendrick…fuck.

THE GAME HAS BEEN CHANGED PEOPLE. FOR THE BETTER! Every rapper out there is going to be stepping there shit up now because a nigga can’t just call you out like that and you’ll let him get off without throwing your own punches back. And if he didn’t call you out, you better bust your ass till he sees you as a threat. It took a 3 minute verse for this nigga to literally shake the entire game up. Yeah Kendrick’s been relatively lowkey for the year but like people say “Don’t mistake silence for weakness”. He sounds pissed off. He just went Super Saiyan 4 in the booth. He might’ve smacked Big Sean upside the head and took his chain as he left the studio. I don’t know! But I do know that I can’t wait to see how other rappers respond to Kendrick’s challenge. You should be excited too. Keep an open mind.
